General Rules and Regulations
At Dawn School, we believe that discipline, respect, and responsibility form the foundation for a positive and conducive learning environment. To ensure the smooth functioning of the school and maintain an atmosphere of respect and care, we ask all students and parents to adhere to the following guidelines:
Personal Property & Campus Etiquette
- Expensive jewellery and ornaments are strongly discouraged, and the school management will not be held responsible for any loss.
- Students should take proper care of school property, including furniture, books, and materials. Vandalism, such as writing or scribbling on walls and desks, is strictly prohibited.
Environmental Responsibility
- The use of plastic in any form inside the campus is forbidden. We encourage students to avoid bringing plastic bags or covers to help maintain a plastic-free environment.
Attendance & Conduct
- Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, and disrespect towards staff or fellow students may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal.
- Students are expected to uphold the school’s values and maintain good conduct both inside and outside the campus.
Parental Involvement
- Parents are kindly requested to pay attention to communications from teachers, especially those in the school calendar, to ensure ongoing involvement in their child's academic life.
- Parents should refrain from entering classrooms during school hours or speaking to teachers during class time unless through scheduled appointments.
- Fees are to be paid on time as per the schedule. Please note that once paid, fees are non-refundable as per school policy.
Safety & Well-being
- Attendants who accompany students to school must respect the school’s rules. Those who disrupt the learning environment will not be allowed on the premises.
- The school cannot be held responsible for any untoward events related to services such as transport or any other activities unless parents strictly adhere to the school’s rules.
School Diary
- The school diary serves as an important record for students and should be carried every day. If lost, students will need to pay a penalty of ₹350 to receive a new copy from the office.
Transfer Certificates
- Applications for a Transfer Certificate (TC) must be made in writing by the parent in advance.
- A TC will only be issued if the reason for leaving is genuine and all fees due for the term have been paid.
