Our Green Efforts
Tree Plantation & Nurturing
At Dawn, we believe that a small step can lead to big changes. As part of our Green Way Initiative, every student is involved in planting and nurturing trees. This isn’t just about watching a tree grow; it’s about growing with the tree, fostering a deeper connection with nature and building a greener future together.
Teacher-Led Green Drive
Our teachers play a vital role in spreading the message of environmental conservation. Through various activities and awareness drives, they bring Green Way initiatives to life.
- School Assemblies: Regular assemblies emphasise the importance of environmental conservation, where students are encouraged to take action on issues like plastic reduction, climate change, and preserving the ozone layer.
- Eco Club Activities: Each month, our teachers, acting as Green Leaders, guide students in eco-friendly projects, hands-on learning, and campaigns that encourage sustainable practices both inside and outside the school.
Celebrating Green Awareness
At Dawn, environmental responsibility is celebrated, and every school event carries the message of sustainability. We end each function with an inspiring message about the environment, reinforcing the importance of green practices and the role everyone plays in protecting the planet.
Daily Awareness & Updates
We integrate environmental awareness into daily activities. Our daily news reading and bulletins share important information and tips about the environment, ensuring that sustainability is always at the forefront of students’ minds.

- I will work towards the protection of our environment and the preservation of our species.
- I will work towards this with other likeminded individuals.
- I will consciously avoid committing acts that damage our environment and will publicly assert my dislikes for act against the environment.
- I will not permit others to cause harm to the wilderness and our wild species without protect.
- I will use resources carefully by reducing, reusing and recycling whatever i use, such as water paper, plastic, metal and glass etc.
- I will not carelessly throw away items that are made of out precious natural resources.
- I will use energy carefully by using a fuel based vehicles when i can walk or cycle.
- I will visit our wonderous places and become a part to their conservation.
- I will always care for mother earth.
- I will try not to damage her knowingly or unknowingly.
